Dogs

Dogs ... definitely some of our best friends. My own pup, Emma, helped stave off divorce blues and has been through so much and has literally helped pick me up off the kitchen floor more than once (that's a semi-metaphor). Here are some of my favorite dog shots ... feel free to give me a ring if you want to take the dogs out and let me snap shots of them! Dog pictures never get old.

My dog does not like to go into the water above her belly ... so she waits for dogs to come out of the water to jump them with their loot (like a stick or a ball).
$A shaking dog is a fascinating subject. The body sort of corkscrews around giving an array of patterns in the air and textures on the dog. This picture was interesting because of the light refraction in the water spray ... at least for me ;-)$

This is the first really great shot of a dog I took, several years back. I had just received a fixed 2.8 lens and was out exploring with it.
