Storms over Venice
Our first night in Venice left us drenched on our run home from a pizza dinner with thunder and lightning all around us. I regretted not bringing my lightning trigger but using the time-honored tradition of long exposures I caught this out of our window in the Dorsoduro neighborhood.
Boat Repair

Sunrise from the Academy Bridge
With only a couple of days in Venice we caught a sunrise from the Academy Bridge. It wasn't a classic sunrise but it was beautiful nonetheless.
Canal View
This canalley (canal alley) wasn't as clean and classic as the other one in the gallery but a better representation of a common Venice canal. A little laundry, deep shadows and bright light, a couple of boats parked.

Bridge of Sighs
Prison to the right, here is the Bridge of Sighs, one of the most photographed bridges in Venice it seems like! I squeezed in and grabbed a picture but realized this was a picture of a piece of history rather than something that would go on the wall at the house. But here it is anyway.
