Fielder Winter Workshop

I was happy to be able to take a workshop with John Fielder, these are the shots from the field outings. I LOVE Winter shooting, this reinforced some good habits, taught me new subjects, and worked a bit more on my structured side of shooting. I can honestly say several of these shots would NOT have happened without the workshop. I also learned a lot from other students, as we went through our review with Mr. Fielder I was astonished at several of the views, angles and especially the close-up macro type shots of crystals that formed overnight. So much to see on this planet that no single person will ever conquer the world of photography.

I have struggled with willows since climbing Mt. Bierstadt. I can't explain it at all, they are quite colorful in the Winter as you can see. Still ... how do they throw me the way they do?
To me, this shot is interesting because of the obvious Pine Bark Beetle damage ... but still, these trees are beautiful as they play against the blue sky.
