Joshua Tree National Park (and PS Area)

Joshua Tree National Park, a true gem of the National Park System. It gets hot in the high desert, but the trees are amazing and worth a side trip if you are in the area. Because of the unique form of the tree, it is worth staying until (and after) dusk so you can watch the form of the tree come out and let the washed out desert fade away into the twilight.
